A Decade of Hot Monkey Love
Written by Jay Bell on March 1, 2010 – 4:05 pm -I totally jumped the gun when making this video last year, because it’s only now that Andreas and I are celebrating the big anniversary. Ten years ago today, I cornered Andreas in a bar and grinned my goofy grin at him until he agreed to go on a date with me. If I were a millionaire playboy, I’d fly us both back over to Kansas to re-enact that first date, which involved a lake, my first exposure to Germany candy, a horse, cheap Chinese food, and a forgettable movie. And a kiss, of course. I’ll never forget that kiss…

Hi there! I'm Jay Bell and I like making up stories! I'm the guy who wrote
Jay, this is so sweet! I just had a huge grin on my face watching it. Happy Anniversary to both of you!
Aw, thanks! That’s very kind of you.
Awww… I’d always wanted to hear more about how you and Andreas – this was perfect! Such a great story. And congrats on your 10 years! We just celebrated our 18th of being together, though we’ve not done the ceremony — at least not yet!
18th? Wow! That’s incredible. Two more years until the big twenty. What sort of anniversary is that? Silver? Crystal? Frosting?
Very sweet video. Wish you guys continued success in your relationship and marriage.
How was Andreas able to move to the U.S. permanently? This is a common issue for any gay couple involving one person who is not a U.S. permanent resident or citizen. This is especially so since gay marriages are not federally recognized and therefore don’t have the same benefits for Immigration as straight marriages do.
