One of the biggest differences in culture here is what is and isn’t considered offensive. This was immediately apparent with children’s television. Cuss words don’t carry much weight here, and are freely used on Nickelodeon style shows similar to Hannah Montana, Lizzie McGuire, and their ilk.





Other concepts aren’t quite as frowned upon either. Take for instance this Muppet style pile of shit. This guy came on screen during a totally normal kids show and I totally spazzed trying to take a picture. Too bad it didn’t turn out so well. It’s hard to tell but there’s even a fly attached via his soft-serve curl at the top. I wonder if they make a plush version of him?
